Scarpetta

The infamous Scarpetta recently opened in the Rittenhouse Hotel overlooking the park. On the first floor, you can find a beautiful bar with trendy tables for a fun Friday night drink. On the second floor, they took a large dining room space and made each table setting feel intimate.  Now for the food- I was unexpectedly surprised that the spaghetti with tomato sauce and basil lived up to its hype. The homemade pasta was plated and made to perfection. The other dishes I tried, tuna susci, creamy polenta, branzino and chocolate cake all led me to another heavenly cooked bite.  Go and enjoy scarpetta!
